Popeye Punch

Never had many #smoothies in ma life 😗 which is probably why this one took me by surprise! 😮 Thankfully, this was a good one 😏 It was the #vanilla that got me 😛 which was in complete symbiosis with the #banana MMMMMM! 😋 I couldn’t really taste the #coconutwater or the #babyspinach but I was good with it 😙 Knowing it’s there makes me feel #healthy about it though 😂 I couldn’t taste the #mango either but I reckon it was what made the #smoothie pretty sweet 🥭 Most importantly, the consistency of the #iceblend was basically perfect 👌 $8.90 ain’t bad for this stuff 😚 especially when they fill it to the brim like that! If you don’t have a @dafnelately or blender of your own to make killer smoothies, this one’s a pretty great choice 😜

I hate turtles 🐢 I hate all marine life and I actively seek to, within my capacity, maximise the amount of #plastic I produce to harm all life on earth. Or at least that’s what businesses like these seek to have us say. In spite of my asking to have the #smoothie in a reusable cup to dine-in, they served it in a #deathbyplastic cup (with a straw) to make sure as my ex’s friend would say, paraphrased, “no point reduce plastic consumption because everyone else still consume twice as much”. The smoothie is great, but I’m bitter. This is the second time they’ve done this. Get reusable cups, I’d recommend the foldable silicon types, because the reality is that corporations will not see that #plasticisscary unless we hold them to it 🖕

I think this smoothie now has a name… something with Popeye in the name. Anyhow, it was tasty, but way too sweet. I think it’s the pea protein they put in that is adding the excessive sweetness. I’m gonna try without that next time. The consistency is perfect, thick, but smooth. The regular size is perfect.

I’m honestly one of those who wouldn’t really eat breakfast in the morning, so this works as a great grab and go alternative. A super filling #smoothie and keeps you energised throughout the day. Forgot to bring my own cup, but next time for sure! 😌 #abillionturns3
