Rendang

As a spicy food addict I could use a bit more kick in the rendang…but it was still yummy nonetheless 🤭 the curry was more on the mild side, and portion of rice just right. Love the pickled veg on the side!

Weekly special featuring monkeyhead mushroom and potato rendang which tasted really aromatic. Served with blue pea rice, beancurd, and sesame oil stir-fried fungus. Also came with peach gum longan goji dessert. Overall good though a little carb-heavy. ($6.80 / set)

The sauce is too watery to be rendang-like, but was deliciously lightly spicy and a very good portion for the price. This was a special of the day so not sure when it’s available. Appreciated the tasty little enzyme shot and side dish of black fungus.
