Braised Tofu Belly Bao

This tofu belly bao was incredible. They used softer and more squishy tofu to mimic the texture of pork belly and coated it in this sweet and smoky sauce that was so yummy. The gai choy relish was tart and salty and super delicious. And the cilantro and crushed soy nut were great accompaniments. The bun itself was super fluffy and pillowy. Perfection!

Wow ! Delicious ! The tofu is smothered in some kind of smoky bbq sauce that gives this dish a really unique flavor. The bun itself was perfectly made . Good sized potion .

These are the GOAT. Huge chunks of tofu, perfectly crisped and glazed on the outside while remaining fluffy on the inside. Generous amount of relish for a simple but perfect flavour combo. The bun itself is soft and fluffy. In addition to serving a few dishes with this tofu every day, Gongfu Bao has a completely vegan menu every Wednesday.
