Wow this dish was a surprise entry into our meal - we were assured there were no animal products in it and it was the best dish of an amazing experience. Wonderfully spiced #garbanzos or #chickpeas along with a slew of roasted veggies like #carrot, #greenpeppers, #redpepper, #zucchini and huge chunks of #celery. We identified #cumin and #paprika spices but the flavor profile was much more well-rounded with even a hint of spicy heat. The chick peas were cooked to perfection, so tender and pleasing to the bite. I would go back to order this dish as my entreé, we split it between two as an appetizer. I loved the retro aspect of the bowl it was served it! Reasonably priced at 8,50€.
And just look at this locale!! It is underground and right next to the #tamanca #winery operation. The décor is rustic and literally below the same ground where the grapes are cultivated. But be warned, this is a no reservations spot - it is first come, first served with a number system. However, you can order wine and appetizers while you wait. 😁
