Our second dinner at this lovely spot was to celebrate the hubby's birthday, and we again allowed Chef Jenny to be inspired with her dishes instead of ordering from the menu. This dish consisted of a round #zucchinisquash that provided a tender shell to an explosion of veggies cooked in an Asian-inspired sauce. #redcabbage, #carrot, #garlic, #almonds, #peanuts, #yellowpeppers, #onions and #mushrooms. The garnishes of an #edibleflower, #raspberries, and crunchy grilled #asparagus rounded out the flavor profile and color pallete! This was our second (of three!) visit in a week while on vacation, which speaks to the deliciousness and wonderfulness of this special place in La Frontera! It is located at the top of a volcanic hill with a lovely plaza, belltower and church in front. Jenny and Cristi make you feel right at home, they are so charming, personal and passionate about what they do! Lots of different grilled vegetables inside a nicely pumpkin form of zucchini. Delicious taste, full of feeling of eating fresh ingredients of various colour, indeed it was very well presented. Thanks to the staff who did know really well about vegan food and moreover were very friendly. Great value for money.
