ALSO this is one of my favorite dishes in this place... carbonara can so easily be ruined also in it's original recipe, but this vegan version is just EXCELLENT. creamy and peppery, with crunchy bacon bits.... simply amazing
I have never tasted "real" 'nduja so I don't have an exact comparison to make.. but this was a rather ordinary chili paste on bread... I guess the meat-based version is a bit more savory π€·π»ββοΈ
wasn't very impressed
this is a very simple dish of spicy cicory.. nothing more nothing less. absolutely not very spicy for my budds but bitter enough! if you have never tried cicory in Rome or Lazio you definitely should
the presentation was prettier.... before I stated devouring it and forgetting I needed the picture! these are one of my favorite dishes in this place : the winey sauce is AMAZING, they could serve that on the potatoes and more
the BEST vegan dish I have ever had! these are vegan version of deep fried baby octopus (mushroom and nori I guess are the main ingredients) trust me they are FENOMENAL! if u liked the flavor of fish and the rubbery chewyness more
I obviously started eating before taking the pic .... it just was THAT good! Vegan cacio e pepe is hard for me to find so this was a treat: creamy cheesy, sweetness added by the pear garnish and a pear jelly on the side.. more
I'm usually skeptical towards store bought humus 'cause it's too cumin-heavy for my taste. this was pleasently not! very creamy mild flavored and garnished with some chunky cooked vegetables I really didn't recognize... more
the taste is that tangy sweet flavor of fake chicken.. if u like it u like them, if not u don't.
unfortunately the breading completely detached from the nugget once I fried them...so I enjoyed the crispyness on the sideπ€·π»ββοΈ
these are cold rice noodles, served with spicy chili oil and fresh cucumbers. the contrast between the hotness of the chili and the freshness of the cucumber and the plate not being warm was super interesting and new to more
I always order lotus roots, they are crunchy sweet.
something in between a carrot and a potato. the "fire bowl" is hot and spicy, with onions and green pepper. overall good, was what I expected
