Vegetarian-ish giving Veganuary a go 🌱
Very nice sausage supper. Tasted different to a meat sausage supper (from what I remember) but was still good. Love cheap vegan options
Cheese struggled to melt evenly but it tasted nice and wasn’t as sticky as some vegan cheese is when melted
The cheesy melted very well and the quorn ham was nice, but overall it was a bit bland. But, it’s exciting to have a vegan sandwich option that isn’t just falafel. Overall enjoyable
This was an okay oat milk. It didn’t curdle in tea or coffee but it was more watery than brand name oat milks I’m used to. And it was also quite sweet for being unsweetened. Worth it for its price as a budget milk
Only now available on chippy Tuesdays at Mono but worth it. I was devastated when it was taken off of the regular menu as it’s my favourite thing from mono. Stunning 9/10
This is my favourite vegan sandwich in existence. It’s a vegan Reuben with pastrami, cheez and sauerkraut. Maybe a bit pricey for just a sandwich but I’d say it’s worth it
I didn’t really enjoy this wrap. The “chicken” pieces were a strange texture and the overall flavour wasn’t great. Wasn’t really worth the money but I appreciate that there’s a vegan caesar wrap even available
The barbecue seitan was delicious but the main attraction, the vegan egg, was gross. It was a coconut foam which I really didn’t like, but the rest was very nice.
My favourite plant based sausages. Probably the most like “real” meat (perhaps too much so for some people, like my girlfriend)
Lovely accidentally vegan cinnamon rolls. Very easy to bake and you can sometimes find them in the reduced fridge section
