Vegan Pineapple Bomb Cookies

Aptly named cause these little nuggets are BOMB AF. 

Baked KL really goes above and beyond to cater to dietary restrictions. These are usually only Vegan but I am also Gluten Free. A quick message via Instagram and they were quick to oblige and make it GF.

Satiated my festive season pineapple tart (kuih tart/nastar) cravings with these; tangy sweet slow cooked pineapple jam filling enveloped by a crisp yet tender shortbread like pastry. Thumbs up all around even from non plant based and non GF based family members. Priced at RM60+ per almost 500g bottle, these are fairly priced for the work and ingredients that go into them. It's not a tiny container! Highly recommended.

Milo

Dah try ke? I haven't seen it in the convenience stores or major supers like Tesco or Giant yet. May be a slow roll out.

Milo Dairy Free Almond (Badam)

Saw this near the check out at BIG super Publika a few weeks back and was so surprised, it was before they held the launch so I hadn't heard anything in the news. I'd been without Milo, a South East Asian staple, for YEARS. 

Priced at around RM3.50 for a small bottle, it was fairly priced IMHO. Tasted more like thin chocolate Mylk than conventional Milo. Missing the maltiness and body of proper Milo. I'm not complaining though cause it's one more safe drink for me when I'm out and about to grab from convenience stores. Hurrah for more local produced DF drinks!

Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream

Super stoked to find M&S Malaysia started bringing in the Plant Kitchen line. As a person who is dairy free, this flavour was a blast from the past. Couldn't even tell it was plant based. Beautiful presentation when cracked open too. My 6yo twins devoured this (meant to be mine) and promptly declared we have to get more! Competitively priced at RM25.90.
