Vistro never ceasing to amaze me with the creativity of their dishes once again! This ‘chicken’ has a lovely lemon seasoning and although it may not have the same texture of most chicken alternatives, like seitan, I love more

photo of Rustic and Blue The Farm Shop Falafel Wrap shared by @gutgoodies on 07 Feb 2021 - review

The presentation and value for this dish was great but I really didn’t enjoy the taste. The falafels didn’t taste like traditional falafels and the combination of dressing and veggies didn’t fit so well.

photo of Barefood Bangkok ; Bangkok Vegan NutCheese Tumeric Marinated Tempeh shared by @gutgoodies on 07 Feb 2021 - review

A nice, well-seasoned and hearty side dish to go with your main! I often find the taste of tempeh a little odd and sour but the marinade that Barefood has used is awesome.

This was so hearty and well spiced! As the name goes, the “herbal miso” really does come out strongly. Filled with a bunch of veggies and tofu, this dish is also really healthy but filling and light at the same time!

WOW was this a good ramen! I’ve been looking for vegan ramens that have a thick, creamy soup, as opposed to the clear, bland soups I’ve often come across, and this hit just the spot! Quite pricey but it’s really satiating more

photo of Roast The Vegan Breakfast shared by @gutgoodies on 07 Feb 2021 - review

As one of my go-to weekend lunch spots, I was waiting years for Roast to come out with some vegan options and they finally did but it was honestly really disappointing.

Every item was overly salty and had very basic flavours. more

If you want insanely good and realistic meat alternatives, May Veggie is honestly the best in Thailand! As one of the first vegan restaurants in BKK, they know their stuff well and my god is it perfect every single time. more

Plant Donut

Ever since going vegan, I’ve been missing fluffy donuts and these have hit the craving spot perfectly! I got the following flavours but my favourite was the chocolate one:

If you’re not a fan of plant-based processed/manufactured meat, this is the option to go for!

The mushrooms give a realistic shredded texture and a great umami boost that’s almost meaty.

Amazing thick-cut fries on the more

Delicious, hearty tempeh sandwich! Tempeh can be a tough one to eat for some people but they marinated this really well.

The restaurant was an experience in itself, located next to a clean, natural stream of water. Loved more
