This has a good balance of umami, vegetal, grassy & subtle floral notes with no bitterness! :) All the notes mentioned are mild though, so some sips may taste a lil’ flat. Smells nutty.

Brewing at around 70-75C seems to yield the best flavour profile; >75C will start to draw out subtle astringency.

The price is on the higher side for the flavour profile. This is Kanbayashi Shunsho’s second highest grade. My friend kindly helped me buy this from their Uji store at ¥3880 (~$33.50/20g)~
