This was featured on #sharktank and was pitched as a #coffee for #kids. I actually got this for myself, lol, because this has a load of nutrients, too many to list, so I just included a photo here. Also, I was just a kid myself when I first became vegetarian at the age of 14 (now vegan), so I generally like foods that are mostly common in families with kids (so I think, because my single friends generally don’t eat much of the same foods that I do, like sandwiches, mac & cheese, spaghetti, burritos, pizza, etc. I feel their daily meals are fancy, lol). So of course I was really looking forward to the taste of this.
I haven’t tried this as a hot coffee yet, but I did make a Chocolate Peanut Butter Iced Coffee with this, inspired by a #easyvitamixrecipe. I just got an aer disc container, which I love so much, and it deserves its own separate post, which I will someday as I make more with it. https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/recipes/chocolate-peanut-butter-iced-coffee
I first made this recipe as is, which I loved, and then I made it with this so that I could leave out the coffee and cocoa, while getting extra nutrients. It was a tad sweet for me, but surprisingly, this has #zerosugar! It’s sweetened with #agave and #monkfruit. I’ll just have to use less #peanutbutter next time. Overall though, it was very decadent for a drink, something I’d expect from a high-end coffee shop. Check out the light foam on top in my last photo. I don’t know if any blender would achieve this, but I’m sure the taste would be the same!
