The first smells to waft up to your nose are peanut and spring onion. In one bite of the taro ball it instantly reminded me of gnocchi. Each ball was a comforting hug of bouncy, tender, starchy goodness with crunchy fried pieces delivering the nuttiness and change in texture. This was the 9th dish in the 10-course vegan degustation set, and it came in a fun ceramic old-school Chinese takeaway box!
