Vegan Espresso Chocolate Chip Muffin at Hard Times Cafe — Iszy's Review (Sep 24, 2025)

As a coffee hater, I would have never picked this. Luckily, I have a coffee lover with me, and the espresso really wasn't prominent at all! There was just a touch of espresso bitterness that actually enhanced the chocolate! Usually espresso is too strong and covers up any flavor. I was happy that this wasn't the case here. I love that Hard Times offers deals on day-old bakery items. They may be a bit drier, but they're still yummy! It's a wonderful inexpensive treat.
