This #autumn #pizza was our main dish. There is always a "Pizza Gourmet" of the day and can be asked to be vegan - it is based on the produce of fresh market suppliers to Chef Manuel. This time it had an autumn theme, with various mushrooms including #porcini, #orejadeelefante, #portobello and others, along with a mushroom truffle sauce. There was also a squash sauce beneath, providing a yellow pop under the earth tones. In the middle was a salad of garden fresh greens, tomato confit, cabbage and #veganpesto. So earthy, #umami and flavorful! The crust is divine, with a wholegrain texture, being so crunchy on the outside and tender and spongy inside. It is priced at 19€, pricier than others but worth every penny to eat this seasonal, one-of-a-kind creation.
