Shiro Wat at Toukoul — tiascaz's Review (Sep 9, 2025)

I really wanted to try their shiro wat, which is a chickpea stew in a berbere sauce, as I’ve always loved it at other places. It was definitely more than we could eat, as the platter was already enough for 3. However I’m glad I tried this cuz it was delicious. They blend the chickpeas which makes it so creamy, and it has just the nicest warm spice mix. Some of the best and most complex flavours of any cuisine in my opinion! Loved this place!
