When I got a Mexican dish at a restaurant that I was visiting for the first time and was planning on getting an Horchata, but learned that they couldn’t make it vegan, I opted to splurge on  this Coca-Cola instead. This nostalgic glass bottle reminded me that coke used to be my favorite soda when I drank sodas more often. There is a slight difference in taste. This one is made with cane sugar instead of corn syrup that the US uses. I like adding a bit of lemon juice to it, which I learned while living in Sicily. These days, I enjoy healthier beverages, but this was a refreshing splurge that pairs so well with a Mexican dish.
