What a hearty smoothie! This thick beverage is loaded with bananas, dates, cacao powder, cinnamon, your choice of peanut or almond butter (I chose the latter), and your choice of non-dairy milk (I went with soy). And I’m so glad that Ahonui seems to be doing such great business. It’s a jewel of Central Maui, located in the food-truck park across from Costco, near the airport. I don’t mind waiting in line for a few minutes because it means more visitors and locals and choosing vegan food and drinks.
