Teriyaki Tofu Lunch Set at Sushi Jones — ed8080's Review (Jun 4, 2025)

The teriyaki tofu is the clearly marked lunch set option at Sushi Jones and comes with rice and miso soup (not shown in the photo). Prepared quickly and served piping hot, the tofu is silky on the insisd whilst held together with a crispy batter softened by a delicious, slightly sticky teriyaki sauce. The fresh salad adds the perfect lightness to contrast with the teriyaki and the nicely cooked rice absorbs all the lovely flavours.
This is a dish of wonderful tastes and textures, from the smoothness of the tofu, the slight chewiness of the batter, the crispness and crunch of the lotus chips on the salad to the well formed and just-right in firmness of the grains of rice.
A filling meal and excellent value for just over AUD15.
