this #rawvegan soup was good but . . .

I did not taste any #finocchio/ #fennel . it tasted like celery soup. don't get me wrong, I love celery - but that is all I tasted. the walnuts were a nice touch.

I used to prepare lunches for people, including a soup with cucumber, avocado, and lemon with a sprinkle if dill. It was one of my favorite because it was so easy to make & people raved about it. 

i say that because that is basically this soup. Everything put in a Vitamix and blended. There wasn't enough prep work to justify 10€, especially since i did not taste any fennel.

ironic because often fennel - thanks to its strong flavor - can be put into a dish to mask the presence of not-so-fresh ingredients. this time they seemed to leave it out 🤷🏻‍♀️ sono stata infinocchiata

as a celery soup, it was good. and it is still a cute restaurant. #supportlocal #familyowned

if you go, bring a friend. I had to eat at the tiny counter because I was alone even though all but one table was open.
