croissant at WOODHOUSE Bakery + Coffee Shop — Liz Maselli's Review (May 20, 2025)

This #vegan buttered croissant from Woodhouse surprised me. Lol, what am I saying, everything from their bakery is fantastic. BUT it’s hard to find a plant-based croissant that gets the texture and flavor right, but this one totally did. It was super flaky on the outside with that soft, buttery center—no weird aftertaste or oiliness, just really well-balanced. I had it warmed up and it was perfect with a coffee. Definitely one of the better vegan pastries I’ve had lately.
