This #vegan buttered croissant from Woodhouse surprised me. Lol, what am I saying, everything from their bakery is fantastic. BUT it’s hard to find a plant-based croissant that gets the texture and flavor right, but this one totally did. It was super flaky on the outside with that soft, buttery center—no weird aftertaste or oiliness, just really well-balanced. I had it warmed up and it was perfect with a coffee. Woodhouse opened a bakery close to their restaurant, and it’s lovely! Croissant are flaky, buttery and amazing (and $6 each). Great atmosphere in stone’s throw from Goodale Park.
