Yatsuhashi at Vegan Ramen UZU Kyoto — pattini's Review (May 14, 2025)

This was our entree at Uzu Vegan Ramen, a very renowned restaurant with a fully vegan menu and a focus on ramen. I don’t remember the ingredients of this dish although the waitress told us how it was made, I just remember that it was delicious and surprisingly flavorful. The presentation was also top notch. The restaurant is very particular: in a dark room made of glass and mirrors, all the customers eat at the same big table. But it doesn’t feel neither too dark nor cramped, because each party has its own light and there is plants of space. On one side of the room a giant screen shows some artistic animations. A really suggestive atmosphere.
This restaurant is reservations only and to secure a seat at dinner time I would suggest booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance.
