Generous plate of 'steamed chicken', which was described in the menu as being soy-based but resembled seitan to me. The texture wasn't quite like the real deal but the flavour certainly was! Topped with some cucumber slices as well. 🍗🥒 The 'chicken' rice was fragrant and I appreciated the fact that white rice could be swapped to brown rice. 🍚 Served with vegetable broth alongside housemade chilli, ginger, and dark soya sauce. 🌶️🫚 Overall impressively tasty and relatively similar to what I remember Hainanese chicken rice to be, albeit very oily.
