Hot Chocolate W/ Almond Milk at Cafe NAS — Madeleine's Review (Apr 8, 2025)

They forgot about me 🥲
It seemed that 0.5 seconds after I placed my order and a big group of people came in to the cafe after me they completely forgot about my order. After about 15 minutes of me sitting alone hot chocolate-less with my table number making sad eye-contact with multiple staff did they come over and ask if I was still waiting for anything.
Then they served it in a glass, which incurred psychic damage points. Everyone knows hot chocolate is meant to be served in a nice, squat, round ceramic cup with a handle, something you can wrap two hands around while pulling it close as you sidle up next to a warm hearth. Maybe I romanticise hot chocolate on a cold, misly day too much. It tasted good and chocolately but one could not savour it properly being late and sans proper cup.
