This was pretty vile. I had two sips before I ditched it for traditional matcha. It's so expensive though, so I felt bad dumping it. On the nose I could tell it would be hard to drink. It does have a mushroom-y scent and flavor. It's not earthy in a way matcha should be. Maybe you could get used to it or it would be better in a latte, but regular ceremonial grade matcha just tastes so much better.
