Blackened Braised Cabbage at Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant — Iszy's Review (Dec 12, 2024)

I love this dish from Dakota! They really work magic on a slice of cabbage! This braised cabbage is served on a legume puree and is topped with crispy southern furikake (sesame seeds, nori, puffed rice). I've reviews it before, but they presented it in a nice way this time and we got a table with better lighting, so I have to talk about it again!

The cabbage is a light entree, but the legume puree adds more substance. I feel like the puree is the best part of the dish! It has a lovely flavor and texture!
