I’m re-reviewing the sausage roll from Armoni coffee house. It’s a been a while since I first tried it.
As always, delighted that they’ve got something vegan in the savoury section but wearying slightly from that being a sausage roll! I always hope to see something like a vegan cheese and tomato toasty, but they are rare.
This sausage roll was warmed up and served on its own. I would’ve enjoyed a bit of fresh green garnish. The pastry was nicely browned and flaky. The filling was too much of a paste for my taste. More like a stuffing blend. I’m more of a rough nutty mix fan. However, I ate it all with relish as it was nice to have savoury instead of sweet.
Quite pricey at £6.95.
The cafe is pleasant, warm and filled with the aroma of freshly ground coffee which they grind in the same space.
