Cuban Sandwich at The Chicago Diner, Logan Square — Iszy's Review (Nov 23, 2024)

This was @jonok's pick for brunch/lunch. He loves Cuban sandwiches and we haven't found a vegan one around us. It was great to see Chicago Diner had one! It's made with grilled marinated seitan, fried yucca root chips, peperoncini, melted cheese, mayo, and mustard on ciabatta bread. Adding the yucca chips into the sandwich is a nice touch that adds a bit of crunch. I didn't have a Cuban sandwich before going vegan, so I don't have much to compare it to.
