Emperor's Old Fashioned at PLANTA Queen — Iszy's Review (Nov 21, 2024)

Old fashioneds aren't really my jam. The bartender was talking about how this recipe made her start liking old fashioneds and it convinced @jonok to try! I took a little sip, and although it didn't make me a convert I have to admit it was a nice smooth drink! Much to whiskey forward for me, but not as bad as others I've had. It's made with japanese whiskey, black sugar, ginger, and angostura bitters.
