Another damn good bagel. The Po’Boy came with 2 big slices of crispy fried vegan “fish”, lettuce, pickles, tomato, pickled onion, Old Bay seasoning and tartare sauce. Delicious 👌🏼
From what I’d read about Archie’s, everyone generally seems to think it’s very well-priced. Maybe it’s just me but honestly thought prices were quite steep! I didn’t realise they also have a 10% weekend surcharge, which is not something I’d encountered before. Public holiday surcharge - definitely. Sunday surcharge - sometimes. But don’t think I’ve been charged extra on a Saturday before.
That meant this bagel - usually $23 - came out at over $25. Our lunch of 2 bagels, a side, and one coffee came to just under 70 bucks. I do feel there are other vegan cafes that offer better value, but I’d still come back.
