The texture is a little thicker than traditional sour cream, not as smooth and light. But the taste is just like I remember and is totally a suitable and tasty alternative. It’s a little pricey for just a small container, so this is a perfect size to use as a condiment rather than in a recipe that might call for more. For example, I made a nacho salad with warm cashew cheese sauce, some shredded lettuce and tomatoes, and a dollop of guacamole and this sour cream. One of my favorite meals for a quick lunch or after a long busy day with no time to cook.
