Review of Carciofi alla giudia at Trastevere by paologemma

I love artichokes. When it’s season I try to eat as much as I can. You can cook artichokes in endless ways but for me one of the best way is Carciofi alla Giudia (Artichokes Jewish way), one of the most popular dishes in Rome. This particular one was good but the chef must remember to remove the inner beard and unfortunately he didn’t. This is a huge mistake we pointed out when there. Plus, a weird fact is that this restaurant offers as well Carciofi Alla Romana (Artichokes Roman Way), which normally is totally vegan but the chef added some anchovies as well… so I couldn’t order them #artichokes #carciofi #artichokelover
