Review of Nonpareille Capers - Trader Joe's by iszy
Capers are a great way to add a good salty, briney flavor to a meal. I used it for my tofu piccata and it went really well with all of the lemon in that recipe. Those flavors together makes me think I was eating this on coast in Italy. Capers also are great in tapenade recipes. It provides that nice salty flavor and makes anchovies completely unnecessary in the recipe (although I've made good tapenade without capers as well. Anchovies are always unnecessary in a recipe!)
