Review of Tofu ai semi di sesamo at Trattoria Glisenti by pattini

I really love Glisenti, it’s such an elegant restaurant with a wonderful view on Lake Iseo and most importantly a whole plant-based menu on top of their traditional menu.

Unfortunately the menu doesn’t get updated frequently, so most of my dinner consisted of things I already reviewed.
The only novelty (at least for me since I didn’t try it yet), was this tofu in a sesame crust.

The dish was composed of five tofu sticks and a side of vegan mayo. The tofu sticks had a nice texture and a pleasant taste but after a while I must admit they ended up being a little boring. I felt like something was missing in this dish and it did not live up to my expectations.

Also the price for this dish was 18€, which I have to say was maybe too expensive for what it was.
