Look at that vegan egg yolk!!! 😮

I have had this restaurant booked for months as I really wanted to try this dish. It’s a turkish pide - a flatbread filled with vegan mozzarella and egg. It was something I never thought I would try after going vegan. We enjoyed it. The dish is on the pricier side but worth it for the experience.

The egg yolk was SO realistic I wouldn’t have eaten it unless I was at a vegan restauarant and 100% confident it was plant based. #veganegg #newyorkcity #saveveganrestaurants

david- I think is Georgian not TurkishReply
david- it’s!Reply
appleappleamanda I thought so too at first but it said it was turkish on the menu so I think it’s present in both nations1 likeReply
david- Just Googled it. Definitely Georgian 🇬🇪 Reply
appleappleamanda You’re right that khachapuri originated in Georgia! Some turkish people claim it (including this restaurant apparently) since it’s very popular in both nations nowadays :)1 likeReply
