š„¬This really has that home made comfort. Maybe cos I've made cabbage kimchi before, so that home made vs. retail difference is distinct. I believe the soup was strengthened with miso (I guess!)
šI'm not an udon fan, but I'd say udon lovers should like this. Cooked just nicely chewy.
šI like the proportions of cabbage, tofu and lotus roots to the udon. So there's always something different to bite though in each bite.
š„The dumpling was alright. Would be nice to have a fuller filling, as it sometimes felt like I was eating more skin (but the skin was nice, so that's not too bad a thing...). Or maybe just simplify the dish to replace the dumpling with tofu?
