Vegan Mac Bowl at Homespun Kitchen — Iszy's Review (Feb 10, 2024)

When searching for vegan food around Jacksonville, this has come up consistently. This location in particular interested me because it's close to the ocean. It is in an area called Beaches Town Center which is a nice area that's a bit more touristy. It has many restaurants and bars, a couple clothing shops, and a bookstore. There are a couple tables outside Homespun Kitchen that were nice to eat at. The food comes out surprisingly fast here, but I thought it was of great quality and tasted fresh.

I like that their only Mac and cheese is automatically vegan! It's cashew based and you can tell, but I really enjoy that flavor in this dish. The cheese is thick and creamy. The cashew cheese is a bit tangy, but it's also more importantly, cheesy! The pasta is also gluten free! I really couldn't tell when eating it! You can add more stuff to it, so we added peas. I do love mac and peas!

This is $6.75 before you add any toppings to it.
