Here’s a dish that’s almost always safe at #japanese restaurants — #yasai tempura 🍤 This was a generous serving! 😋
The #enoki is always a favourite 😻 but they also had two different varieties of #sweetpotato 🍠, #bellpeppers 🫑 though it’s the green one 🤢, carrot 🥕, #shiitake (tautology warning) #mushroom 🍄, and eggplant 🍆
You’ll notice they note to not include the #tempura sauce, whatever that is, because it’s not vegan. Perhaps it’s vegetarian? 🤷♀️ No clue, cause the menu does seem to have these little leaf markers on vegetarian items 🌱 Oh, and the sauce they put on the cucumber 🥒 and lettuce 🥬 is a sesame sauce drizzle by the way.
I think RM15 is just about typical for the serving size we got 😇 If you’re looking for a main pairing with something like this, my go-to would be a nice cold #soba 🍜
