Banana Blossom in a can.

Only bought this edible flower twice.

1st time trying when it just hit the market on the vegan scene.

I emptied the can and drained the liquid patted dry the petals and marinated for a few hours in a spice then I coated in a batter and fried and it was really nice.
I think it's really delicious if battered and deep fried.

But as I Don own a deep fat fryer I used a frying pan, then tossing them over to balance the cooking evenly.

If a deep fat fryer was used it would make like easier and I'm guessing a lot more crispy to the bite Crunchy!!!

There are many recipes on line showing how banana Blossom can be a healthy alternative to eating chicken.

How ever the 2nd time trying I decided to marinade and add a pastry around the banana Blossom to make a home made pie.
And I personally did not enjoy one bit. So not bought it again
However the house hold did enjoy.
