I was sent two blue đź’™ powders, a plain blue #Spirulina and the Ocean Blend. The taste of the plain blue spiralina is very Kelpy, alone, but when used in small amounts to replace food coloring, this is a better option. The Ocean Blend is better for smoothies, etc, because it's sweeter and has a distinct Chai flavor. I used this for many things, including rainbow sushi. A little powder mixed in your sushi rice creates a beautiful color. These bags retail at about $20 and are made from #organic and #sustainable ingredients from Australia. Spirulina has amazing health benefits, including b vitamins, antioxidants, and even some protein. These superfood powders make excellent substitutions for artificial food colors!
