Tried out these vegan mushroom breakfast sausages for free through Social Nature. While I preferred the vegan egg version of my breakfast bagel sandwich, this sausage version was also enjoyable. The texture is nice and not super meaty, which I was thankful for, since sometimes faux meat grosses me out. The patty itself wasn’t very flavorful, so I recommend adding seasonings and soy sauce/tamari/coconut aminos. Once I added that it was much more enjoyable, especially as a part of the ensemble (homemade 2-ingredient bagels, sliced avocado, sautéed kale, caramelized onions, and sliced tomatoes). Quite a few sausage patties came in a container which I appreciated. Overall, it was a fun item to try out but not one I’d enjoy on its own or repurchase.
