Finally got to try St. Elsewhere and it was everything I’d hoped!
The restaurant is fully plant-based, with a creative menu, large space, and excellent vibe. I believe it’s the same owners as Thr33’s co., where I had the best Brussels sprouts of my life, so I had high expectations.
This dish had leeks, fennel, red wine tarragon sauce, and new potatoes alongside the lions mane mushrooms. The flavours were cozy and warm, like a comforting stew. The potatoes held their texture perfectly, with a tiny bit of crunch on the skin.
All in all, it was a perfect winter meal that I would pair with a nice red wine.
