I selected the medium spice level, and found it umami and nicely seasoned (though I have to be honest - I can't really remember the exact taste of McSpicy anymore). 🍗🌶️ Eggless monkeyhead mushrooms often have an unpleasant rubbery texture, but thankfully it wasn't the case here! Beneath the slightly crunchy batter, the inside was 'meaty' and tender, almost resembling a fatty chicken patty. Paired with romaine lettuce, vegan mayonnaise, and melted #violife cheddar #vegancheese tucked between fluffy vegan butter buns. 🍔🥬🧀 So satisfying and hearty! The owner/chef Ash ever mentioned that if she had to choose her last meal before her death, it would be her very own vegan McSpicy burger.
