I think it was very yummy. Would definitely purchase this again.

The flavor alone is missing a little when it comes to actual ricotta. I definitely would eat it with a sauce every time, it wouldn’t taste as good alone. The inside is similar but it tastes more bitter than ricotta. If you eat it plain, it doesn’t give that *satisfying* bite like actual ricotta tortellini would.

But if you pair it with a sauce like pesto, (which is what I did) it tastes amazing, although it is on the blander side. The bitterness and overall flavor of the ricotta is very faint and easy to remove with a sauce. You honestly wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s vegan. With some sauce it tastes like the real deal.

Size wise, it’s a good size. When I first bought it, I thought it would only feed two people. On the back it also says there’s 2.5 servings. But when I cooked it up, I also roasted some vegetables, fried up some chicken style bites, and made a salad. It was great and easily served 4 people with a little tortellini left over.

One of my fav vegan purchases recently, I would definitely recommend this to other people. I would also recommend them to eat it with pesto or something lmao (I’m a big pesto stan)
