Gin Bottle Blues at Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant — Iszy's Review (Oct 19, 2023)

I'm having an unlucky streak with choosing cocktails! This stood out to me because it uses Vikre Distillery Co. juniper gin, ginger, cucumber, and basil. The issue is it also has their house quick brine. I need to stop choosing drinks with brine! It was immediately odd when I took a sip because there was no carbonation. Some soda water would have really helped in my opinion. It's just a bit odd to have gin without bubbles. The ginger, cucumber, and basil all sounded good, and I could taste them! But the saltiness of the brine really overpowered it. I felt dumb for spending $14 on this, there are definitely other drink I would have liked!
