Echoing the recent reviews on these truffles - brilliant concept, terrible execution. I was so excited to spot these at Wellness Warehouse, itās about time vegans get to indulge in a luxurious chocolate truffle box, but what a disappointment.
The three truffle varieties in this box were: almond praline, white chocolate peanut butter, caramel and hazelnut. Sounds amazing, right? Wrong. The taste was so odd to me. Nothing particularly distinct about the different truffles, they were all equally bad. I just donāt think they used nice chocolate. The coconut sugar and date syrup just didnāt mesh well with the cocoa mass and butter.
The only thing luxurious about these truffles is the price. Itās expensive and not worth it.
If you havenāt tried these, I can assure you, your life is better without it š«
