The Drift Inn Hotel & Restaurant offers a surprising amount of vegan options compared to most of its neighboring restaurants. I think most vegans could agree that beach towns can often be less than exciting when it comes to dining (it’s always seafood, saltwater taffy, and dairy ice cream 😔 ), but Yachats, Oregon does not disappoint when it comes to keeping vegans happy! 🎉 😊 Drift Inn offers several vegan dishes on all three of their menus (breakfast, lunch & dinner), so no matter which meal you’re going for, you’re sure to find some options.
This crepe is filled with caramelized onions, artichokes, house-made cashew cheese, and topped with avocado 🥑 & Romesco sauce. 😋 It was deliciously filling and served with lightly pan-fried potatoes on the side.
I’ll admit that the prices are a little steeper than I usually pay (this was $17), but this comes with the territory of having great ocean views and really charming decor. There are umbrellas ☂️ hung on the ceiling upside-down throughout the restaurant and also art for sale on the walls. I really liked the effect of the cozy dim lighting and the French music playing on the speakers. 🎶 🇫🇷
J’adore la musique française!
I definitely know I’ll be coming back to eat here the next time I’m visiting this beautiful Oregon coastal town, and I highly recommend checking it out.
ps. The other photos I included are just a few from my trip exploring & hiking around the coast. 🥾 🥾 🌊 🌲
