Custard Danish at 123V Bakery — alisonsstar's Review (Jul 29, 2023)

🇫🇷 This is the new all vegan 🌱 bakery by Alexis Gauthier, the Michelin ⭐️starred chef near Tottenham Court Road in London. In the morning there’s 🥐viennoiserie and at lunch they have a 🥗salad bar and fancy focaccia 🥪sandwiches. In the evening it becomes Studio Gauthier for vegan fine dining at more reasonable prices.

This custard Danish was superb for £2.80 and I couldn’t resist trying one more pastry. 🤦‍♀️ I was sad they didn’t have the almond croissant that @koelnerfrau had raved about. I think they are only open Monday to Friday at the minute which is a shame for those of us who work in the week. Fingers crossed that will change as their business and demand grows.
