Review of Black Sesame Paste at Local Food - Yat Ka Yan Dessert by stevenneoh

My feed over the last few days has shown me up for who I unmistakably am - a #blacksesame addict 😁 This place is of local renown and dishes up outstanding desserts whose sophistication and quality belie the dining room's humble appearance 🙂 Mind you, you pay a lot for this. $4.50 for a small bowl of 芝麻糊 😦 There is a member of staff whose sole job is crowd control; with the long queue, you're not allowed to park yourself at a table until you're reasonably close to the front. Once there, the spartan plastic seating does a good job of wishing you gone 🙄

Just as well then that it was rich and creamy and more than satisfactory. And also, a compliment in these parts, not too sweet 😏
