I had never heard of this type of legume before and was a bit suspicious, but was so impressed with the nutritional profile of this milk (and sustainable angle) that I wanted to try it. It has protein, is fortified so contains calcium and B and D vitamins, and no added sugar.
The colour is a very light brown, to me the thickness was perfect - it felt creamy but not too thick. It is definitely an acquired taste and does have a mild nutty beany taste, a bit like soymilk but I would say more beany. I really enjoyed this with my cereal, and also heated in chocolate milk (it heated well and didn’t split). I would like to buy this again :)
